| Patio Enclosures, Inc provides homeowners with sunroom and similar products. They spend a lot of time demonstrating their products, and even more time making sure the installation goes well. While they are an established, national company, the Denver office is completely responsible for local operation. They took a look around a couple years ago on ways to improve their profit margin, and they realized that they spent far too much time dealing with building and zoning permits. In addition to tying up their staff that could be doing more productive work, they were frequently frustrated by the length of time (and resultant construction delays) it took to get what seemed like pretty simple permits. Enter Modus Management. We now obtain all the zoning and building permits (and an occasional zoning variance) for Patio Enclosure's Colorado market. Since we charge the same permit fee on all jobs - tough or easy - the cost is easy to add into the project bid.
