| Sometimes people should call us sooner... By the time we were called in on this job there were already multiple citations for zoning violations pending against the property. Although we disagreed with the City over their validity, the property owners were interested in improving the property anyway, so we set out to come up with a solution that would provide for relatively low costs for the owners, and satisfaction for the City that the problems had been addressed. We arranged for a simple survey of the property and came up with some site plan ideas that had to be negotiated with the planning office. Then we convinced the City to drop all the pending charges, and helped the owners implement the site plan changes. In the end, everyone was happy because the property was substantially improved at minimal cost.
